Georgia House Speaker visits Tifton

Tuesday, July 6, 2010, Georgia House Speaker David Ralston was at the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce. He was accompanied by Rep. Jay Roberts (R-Ocilla), Rep. Penny Houston (R-Nashville), Rep. Jerry Keen (R-St. Simons), Rep. Chuck Sims (R-Douglas), Rep. Buddy Harden (R-Cordele), Rep. Ed Rynders (R-Leesburg) and Republican House candidates Jason Shaw and Tony McBrayer.
“I thought it was important that we start not in the suburbs somewhere, but here.” Ralston stated. “I know what agriculture means to our economy.”
The Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce would like to thank everyone who attended the press conference. Also thanks to the Georgia House Speaker David Ralston and all the representatives who attended.
